As some of you will know I recently received the Conservative Party nomination for next year’s local council elections. I have worked for various local community focused projects since moving to West Lavington a few years back. I am excited to be standing in the May 2021 election so that I can extend my support to a broader area of our county.
Ordinarily that would mean lots of traditional campaigning around our villages, knocking on doors, speaking to people in the street etc. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this sort of activity is currently not a good idea for obvious reasons. Instead the emphasis needs to be on more remote campaigning, in particular via social media channels.
As a result you will start seeing more of me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and of course my own website (http://dominicmuns.co.uk).
Hopefully you will agree with most of the comments I make, some you probably won’t, that’s life! I am always interested in discussing people’s views on subjects, not necessarily “political”, perhaps related to our local communities. If there is something going on in our community that you aren’t happy with or that worries you then let me know; I may be able to offer some assistance.
